Testimonials from Coaching Clients
A friend first recommended Cheryl to me in 2002, and I’ve been turning to her for very wise coaching ever since. Cheryl blends soulful and practical insights and suggestions to help you move from where you are to where you want to be, personally and professionally. I have complete trust in her. She never fails to uplift, inspire and give me actionable steps that work. Every coach should have a coach, and I’m very glad she’s mine.

I just wanted to tell you that your meditation sessions were absolutely insightful and wonderful. I learned so much about the process and myself, which is a good thing! I also want to thank you specifically for helping my friend Kathy …what a godsend you have been for her!
You and Tina are wonderful people and you both constantly amazed me with your “right-on” feedback. I wish you both all the best and if the stars align, perhaps we will meet again next year!!

I once perceived myself as a victim, a skeptic, and a non believer. I had no faith, poor structure, diet and awful communication skills. Where do you begin to rehab yourself from conditions such as these? I had every excuse to try and help myself and every excuse not to try. I needed to break patterns, break addictions and stop using excuses such as; I forgot, didn’t I tell you, I was meaning to do that, I did not know I was supposed to do that, it’s not my fault, it’s so hard for me.
So, one day I had an opportunity to sit in on a guided meditation with YSC to help me reconnect to my own Source- and have a relationship with God. The guided meditations facilitated by Cheryl and Tina supported me in learning how to connect deeply to my breath, open and clear my chakras, and to relax into communion with my Source. My commitment to this practice every week was not easy, but helped me to develop a strong meditation practice which changed my life!
Supported with feedback from – My Source, Cheryl, Tina and the group I learned to trust and journal to help identify clear action steps that supported me in making gradual change. I began to open up, understand myself and wanted to work on changing my life- to become more self reliant, independent and free. I was building a healthy relationship with myself. I began to take a loving interest in myself and desired to be in greater harmony with my Source, community and sense of purpose.
In addition to the weekly meditations, I invested in myself further and signed on with YSC for weekly personal development coaching. The one-on-one attention helped me to know more clearly how I was responsible for creating my life and how I could achieve results with building the life I desired.
I now have a personal relationship with what I call God. I have learned to separate out all emotion that does not serve me feeling good or being in harmony with the universe – the people , places and situations in my life.
Today, I am a more positive person with better habits, communication skills and structure. I am better able to manage my stress and stay grounded in my Faith. I still have daily challenges but I also live a life that I am grateful for. I have a tool box of resources, and processes that ensure my success and connection to my personal guidance system.
In appreciation and Love, Robyn Carl – Cave Creek, AZ
Last December I gave myself a Christmas gift–a 12-week session with Cheryl. My initial goal was to lose weight, something I’ve been trying to do my entire life, but also to gather the strength that I needed to make the changes in my life I’ve been wanting for a long time, but didn’t have the courage to do. I was struggling and needed some guidance. Cheryl catapulted me into life. As I reflect on this past year, I have lost weight and changed my body with Cheryl’s jump-start nutritional program and the help of a trainer (Cheryl’s guidance helped me to indulge myself in signing up for an intense, life-changing exercise/fitness program). Cheryl helped me to see the true power I have when I connect to my source. It is amazing. Hard to describe other than life-changing, beyond what I thought was possible. Now I think anything is possible. What a gift that is, and Cheryl taught me how to do that for myself.
I just finished watching “Eat, Pray, Love.” As I watched the movie, it struck me that I had just completed an incredible transformation in myself. Something like Liz did, but I didn’t travel. I had Cheryl help to lead me through, she was my “Eat, Pray, Love” initiator. Her intuitive guidance is amazing. I have worked with various therapists over the years, as I’m always seeking self-improvement. But none were able to get to a very core issue that Cheryl was able to help me see by session two, and that alone was worth the “price of admission.” It was an amazing breakthrough for me. So many things made sense and I felt myself “allowing” this wonderful transformation to take place in me.
I am awestruck by the growth I experienced this past year. I feel stronger, physically. I have lost almost all the weight I wanted to, and my body is stronger than I ever imagined possible. My health “numbers” have improved beyond anything my doctors imagined was possible. But most importantly, for the first time, I understand how to manifest the things that I want in my life. Cheryl has helped to teach me how to create a life I want. She profoundly changed my life and I will be forever grateful.
This year I want to give myself another gift of “Cheryl time,” because working with her made more of an impact on my life that any other workshop/class/counseling session than I have ever experienced. At almost 57, I feel like I’m just hitting my “stride.” A year ago I was thinking all the really good times of my life were over. Now I know they are just beginning. That is an amazing feeling. Thank you, Cheryl …can’t wait to see what 2011 brings : )
